Here's a brief catch-up with the news of this week:

New MacBooks on the way?

Rumours of a MacBook revamp start to spread on the Internet. No more details for the moment but hints about orders Apple has made to manufacturers and reported by the Commercial Times.

Apple market share up

Apple's market share was up this quarter and is respectively 7.8% or 8.5%, respectively, according to IDC and Gartner. Gartner even claims Apple has reached the third spot in the U.S. PC makers top 5.

Apple will announce this quarter's Financial Results on Monday after the markets' close.

Apple sues Psystar

Apple appears to have eventually sued Psystar which has been making illegal Mac clones called OpenComputer for a few months using a hack which lets any Mac OS X Insall DVD boot on a PC.
