Apple announces WWDC 2008 dates
Apple has announced the World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC) schedule today on its web site.
The event will take place from June 9 to 13 in San Fransisco, CA at Moscone West and, as usually will open with a keynote presentation by Apple's CEO, Steve Jobs..
The groundbreaking innovations of Mac OS X Leopard and iPhone OS offer two revolutionary development platforms for developers and IT professionals. Immerse yourself with information-rich sessions where Apple engineers go in-depth on the innovative technologies that power the features of these sophisticated platforms. Bring your code to the Labs and work one-to-one with Apple engineers, applying development methods and best-practices you gain from sessions to enhance your application.
This year's WWDC will focus on three areas: the iPhone OS, the Mac OS and IT professionals.
Apple is also expected to release the final version of the iPhone Software 2.0 and to officially open its AppStore, a third-party store for iPhone and ipod touch applications announced a week ago along with the iPhone SDK (Software Development Kit).
