Forthcoming iPhone firmware update revealed?

A iPhone firmware update numbered 1.1.3 is rumoured be ready for a release very soon. Reports with videos showing the new features started appearing on the Internet.

The update will bring three major improvements:
- Google Maps localisation through GSM antennas, hybrid view and hot points placing/moving,
- easy home screen editing through drag and drop,
- possibility to send SMS to multiple contacts at once.

One can also expect Apple to squash some stability issues found in the current iPhone software.

GearLive has posted a video showing all of these new features.

Gizmodo also reports that the update breaks AnySim and Jailbreak.

The update doesn't appear to be in final release yet but is expected to arrive during MacWorld Expo 2008.

Still many readers believe these videos are fake, we shouldn't have to wait too long to know the truth.
