Apple posts iPod classic and iPod nano Firmware update

Apple has released an update to the firmware for the iPod classic and the iPod nano, bringing it to version 1.0.2.

Though Apple does not provide details on what this update improves, it appears that this update brings several user interface-related performance improvements and resolves issues with the video-out feature.

The update is available through the iPod firmware updater which is available inside iTunes.

The iPod classic and nano were introduced a month ago, during the September 5 "The Beat Goes On" special event.

A little more than a week ago, Apple released an update for the iPhone and the iPod touch.
