Apple to start record Label

According to a Moli.com report (via MacRumors), Apple has signed a deal with two known rap artists, Jay-Z and Beyoncé so as to start a new record label.

Jay-Z is currently CEO of Def Jam, a label held by Universal Music while Beyoncé is in contract with Sony. The two artists may abandon their current contracts so as to join Apple in a new music label, the report claims.

Apple starts iPhone print ad campaign

MacDailyNews reports that Apple has started a print ad campaign. The site publishes the full page ad found in some magazines and newspapers.

The slogan of the ad is "Touching is believing" and shows a hand touching the screen of the iPhone.

Apple files for Wireless sharing patent

According to Electronista, Apple has filed a patent entilted "Media Data Exchange, Transfer, or Delivery for Portable Electronic Devices".

It relates techniques allowing to share files between portable devices wireless. We can note that the description of the patent reminds a very advertised feature of Microsoft's Zune media player.
